In the state of California it is
not uncommon to be ahead of the times when it comes to taking
care of the environment. California recognized early on that
in our everyday electronics there are many hazardous wastes.
Some of the more common wastes found in electronics are mercury,
lead, and cadium. To protect our selves from these hazardous
wastes the state of California enacted the SB 20 law, which makes
it illegal to dispose of specified electronics into our landfills
(computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, etc). At E-Cycle
Environmental we recognized the need that businesses faced in
ensuring that their electronics were recycled in the proper manner
to avoid state fines and to protect our environment.
